We spotted hair guru Odile Gilbert gilding models' updos with gold leaf at Jason Wu. To get the look, coat hair with gel, and gather into a low pony. Twist the tail, pin it up and coat ends with gold pomade (like the one above). Or just add subtle highlights by slicking a bit of this stuff all over your regular pony.
