Jessica Biel turned heads on the red carpet at the 16th Annual GQ Man of the Year party with her embellished Antonio Berardi dress, striking red lips and a simple and sophisticated messy bun. Her stylist, Mara Roszak, tells us how to recreate undone updo.

1. Prep hair with volumizing mousse and rough dry until all moisture is gone.
2. Spray Dry all over to add more texture.
3. Pull hair into a high ponytail and secure.
4. Twist hair into a messy, imperfect bun shape and secure with bobby pins.
