More and more brides are skipping the classic updo for a laid-back look—lush waves. The first step to getting Gisele-style curls might surprise you: It's eliminating the curling iron. "Curling irons can make hair look too done," says celebrity hairstylist Oribe. Instead, begin by spritzing a shine spray like Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Solutions Heat Protection & Shine Spray or Oribe's Après Beach Wave and Shine Spray all over damp hair to add moisture and keep hair from tangling. Then, separate hair into large sections and create pin curls. Start at the end of each section and roll the strands upward until you meet the base of your scalp. Secure with a clip. Once your hair dries, run your fingers through it to loosen the curls into soft waves.
