The Cut: This edgy crop is closely shorn on the sides and bottom below the crown, while the front is left about 2 inches longer than the rest so it can be styled multiple ways, explains Ginnifer Goodwin's hair pro, Ahn Tran for Oribe Hair Care.

Best For: "Any hair type," says Tran. Just ask your stylist to trim the back shorter to minimize volume if you have thick hair. If you have a round face, you'll want to maintain a little volume at the top to draw the eye up. Keep some length at the sides to balance out a long face, says Tran.

Style Secret: Apply beach spray and shine spray before blow-drying and smoothing out the hair with a small round brush. Afterward, get separation and texture with styling wax, and seal the look with a shot of hairspray, advises Tran.
