Golden Globes 2014

Lily Rabe

Hair by Daniel Rishoff

Hairstylist Daniel Rishoff was on hand to help
American Horror Story star Lily Rabe get glammed up for the Golden Globes red carpet. Daniel gave Lily a sophisticated updo to complement her stunning gown. 揥e really wanted to showcase the beauty of Lily抯 Georges Hobeika dress with soft and effortless hair and makeup, Daniel said. 揑 loved the way Lily had pulled back her hair when she first tried on the dress, so I tried to echo that feeling with a little more polish in the finished look.

Get the look:
1. On damp hair, separate a top section of hair from the temples to the crown and apply Sculpting Cream to the roots. Apply Cr鑝e for Style to the lengths of hair and blowdry hair up and away from the face.
2. Wrap hair section by section around a 1 -inch curling iron to get some movement. Mist waves with Dry Texturizing Spray.
3. For the top section of hair, create a few pin curls from 1-inch sections of hair. Pull the remaining hair (sides and back) into a ponytail.
4. Release the pin curls and tease at the roots, focusing on building some height in the front. Arrange top section into a soft pompadour shape and join with the ponytail using a couple of pins.
5. Pin ponytail into a messy updo, disguising the elastic band by wrapping the hair around it at random. Finish with Superfine Hair Spray.
