Dry Texturizing Spray

In the past I have used texture spray and wasn’t really “Wowed” by them but when I used Oribe dry texturing spray I can say I was truly “WOWED” because it made my hair feel fuller the smell was fresh and made it look like I had just washed it. I will definitely be buying again and agaaain!

This texturizing spray is one of my favorite hair styling products. In addition to texturing, I use it as a finishing spray because it helps to hold hairstyles longer. It also gives me great volume. I apply it to the roots and along the entire length like my hair stylist does.

I had done my natural hair this morning with the curly girl method, let it dry, and when I got home from my errands this was in the mail! I rushed to open the box and try it out and I was so pleased! Vegan, gluten-free, and no sulfates! The packaging is so beautiful, and the box it comes in parallels the packaging of the product itself. I love the detailing on the top of the lid and the design on the bottle. It smells so good and it gave my hair luscious texture and body. I like that it didn’t make my hair greasy or oily or dusty in the areas I applied it to. This has everything I’m looking for in a texturizing spray. I am looking forward to continuing to use this dry texturizing spray in my weekly routine!!

This is an amazing product! I love that it’s unscented. Dries fast, leaves natural looking lightweight texture. Texture remains all day. I recommend holding it as far away from the hair as possible because the nozzle sprays fast and hard.

I love this texturizing spray to give body to my short wavy hair. It does a great job holding for hours. Not sticky and smells good. It comes out quickly and forcefully so be ready!

I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The spray bottle is easy to use. It has a very nice smell, but it doesn't last very long. The product doesn't leave any visible residue on my hair and does what it promises. It's very hot and humid where I live, and it helped my hair not look greasy or stick to my scalp since I have very fine hair. It gives my hair volume and the effect lasts for several hours. I recommend using it in conjunction with Oribe's Luxuriant Mist. The price is a little high, but it's worth every penny you pay.

I really liked this product! The packaging feels luxurious and looks very high-end. And the bottle itself is quite large, and seems to hold a lot of product. The cap has a nice detailed design, and the button to push to spray it out is easy on the fingers. The product itself comes out very cold, which definitely surprised me, but was not bad at all. This product had no scent, and it did not create a noxious fume where I could not breathe like some spray deodorants can do. It added a lot of grit, texture, and body to my hair- see the before and after photos. While it did not provide me a lot of volume on top near my roots, it did remove much of the oil and I believe that it would provide more lift for someone with less hair, I have very long thick heavy hair. My waves certainly have more texture now, and they certainly feel grittier. I would usually use this on days where I plan to wear my hair down all day, as I feel like putting it up or in a ponytail now would feel strange due to the texture in my hair- it would not lay right. When I seen the price tag on this, I was super skeptical. No way would I typically spend that much on a texturizing spray. BUT then I used it! And holy volume and texture! The smell is great and light. It sprays nicely and evenly. I have never had any other texture spray give me the lift and volume and bring my hair to such life before and I’m pretty bougie when it comes to hair care and styling products. Before using this my go to was Living Proof texturing spray but the Oribe takes the cake for sure! It’s one of those “you have to see to believe” type of deals here. It truly is amazing and I am so happy I was able to try it for review!

I’m pretty adamant about following the Curly Girl Method, but I made an exception for this product. (It contains a drying alcohol ingredient this NOT making it CGM friendly.) I washed, conditioned, applied leave-in, applied mousse, scrunched, air dried a bit, diffused, THEN applied this product as the final step. I have to say it DOES add volume and DOES help your style stay pretty darn well. By the 3rd day I had to wash again due to too much buildup. For my personal routine, I would only use this for special occasion. However, I would’ve used this as an everyday staple back when I had my short, asymmetrical, straightened bob. I have very fine hair.

I’m going to start by saying I would have not bought this product due to its price and not knowing if it would actually work. I am so glad I got to try this product because it is the best option for a dry shampoo spray. I have tried cheaper brands and I hate that they leave white residue and weight my hair down but Oribe Texturizing spray is just amazing! It has a nice fragrance which helps your hair feel even cleaner. I’m not one to wash my hair daily so this is a great product to keep my hair looking clean and non oily. It also gives incredible volume which my hair needs. I would definitely recommend and I will for sure be purchasing this product.

As someone who’s highly sensitive to different smells, it is a clean scent that isn’t so strong throughout the day. When I first spray I do hold my breath because I don’t want to breathe it in since it comes out quick. After curling my hair, I flip my head forward and spray all over from about 8 inches away. Then flip my head back upright in a quick motion and the difference is incredible! I LOVE the texture it gives my hair. I used to see photos with gorgeous big wave and curled and wondered how can I get mine to look like that. I wish I found this sooner in life because it gives beautiful texture, volume, and my hairstyle lasts longer than without it. Thank you for sending me this product. I’ve already shared it with my mom who also has flat hair and said how beautiful my tousled curls were. I even took a nap after about 6 hours and my hair looked great when I woke up and hour later but I decided to spray a bit more after waking up. This actually helped revive my style by adding more volume without making my hair look oily or weighed down. I do feel the crystallines did absorb my natural hair oils because my hair didn’t get oily and flat like it normally does.

Oribe Dry texturizing spray is perfect for my loong straight hair! My hair is past my butt and I love wearing it up in cute buns, high ponytails, crazy braids and lots of fun styles and this spray gives my hair that perfect amount of texture and grip to help hold it up and maintain the style all dayyy and night. It smells really really good too! I definitely recommend it for anyone who could use some volume and oomph in their hair! Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray - The Best Texturizing Spray! I am absolutely delighted with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray! This product has become a real salvation for my hair. It gives incredible volume and texture, making the styling more durable and spectacular. The spray does not weigh down the hair and does not leave marks, which is especially important for me. It smells amazing, and it does not interrupt the scent of my perfume. My hair looks fresh and well-groomed throughout the day. I also noticed that with this spray my hair stays clean longer, which is a huge plus. Yes, it is not the cheapest, but it is worth every penny spent.

I really liked this product, it added some volume to my hair without making it feel heavy or crunchy. It’s similar to a lighter hairspray because it gives it a bit of hold but it’s still easy to brush through. However, I don’t recommend this as a replacement for dry shampoo while it made my hair the teeniest less greasy it didn’t do anything significant in those terms. Despite a higher price point I think you get a lot of product in the bottle and only need to use a little to get that volume. I noticed the volume stayed throughout the day as well.

This was an interesting add to my collection. Working almost like a dry shampoo mixed with a hair spray, this Thickening Spray from Oribe added so much volume and bounce to my hair! I recieved this product curtosey of Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Oribe's Thickening Spray came in a typical tall, cylindrical, pressurized can. It's a travel size, which is really convenient to fit in my purse. The can is black with pretty gold embellishments that look like hair. This can contains 2.1 oz of product or 61 gs/77mL. I really, sincerly enjoyed the embossed floral pattern on top of the cap. I thought that was a nice touch. This spray was simple and easy to use. This should be applied to non-damp, recently blow dried hair. The directions are very clear and direct; shake, spray where you want volume, style to desired style, them spray again to hold. This is a brilliant alternative to hairspray. It contains little crystals that help absorb oil at the roots to get rid of that heavy/greasy look. This worked really well for me (even at a terrible camera angle), and it did exactly what it was supposed to do. My roots stayed dry, and it added so much volume to my normally really flat hair. It didn't take a lot of product either. Little goes a long way. This bottle can be found through reputable retailers such as Amazon, Dermastore, Ulta and Sephora for about $26 before taxes or where other Oribe products are sold. This Thickening Spray was absolutely amazing, and I loved how effective it was. I will be replacing my typical dry shampoo for this from now on, it just works that well!

The brand advertises this spray as a hairspray, a dry shampoo, and a texture spray. So naturally, I tried it for a variety of different hairstyles, and I think the advertising is reaching a bit. I’m all for multipurpose products, but this is not one of them. This spray leaves a weird film on your hair that’s rough to the touch, albeit somewhat mattifying. So while that sounds like it would work as a dry shampoo, it doesn’t. Because the issue is that you need to use so much of it to soak up the oils and it simultaneously makes your hair impossible to comb through (even with your fingers). I wasn’t going for the immovable helmet look, so then I tried this as a texture spray and a hairspray. The issue there is that this spray comes out so quickly and with so much power, it ends up pushing the hair and adding to the frizz and flyaways, while freezing them in place. It’s a messy look and I had to resort to my normal hairspray to fix it. This did initially give me some volume at the crown, but my hair fell flat after a few hours, so it didn’t last like I thought it would. The one area I found success with this spray was using it when putting my hair in a banana clip. My ponytail didn’t budge like it normally does because the hair had some grip to it, so that was nice. But I personally wouldn’t pay the price of this Oribe Spray just for one hairstyle.

I was very happy to receive this product in my VoxBox as I heard many good things about it. The product is not so bad and I say that because I hardly was able to use it due to the fact that there is something wrong with the cap which is why I removed one star. I can’t seem to be able to press on the cap to spray the product even with two hands it’s so hard! I think I got defected bottle perhaps sadly . But with couple of times being able to use it I did like it a lot. It smells very nice nothing overwhelming, gives perfect texture to the hair and didn’t tangle it either . Really wish my bottle wasn’t defected so that I can use it.

I am in love with this texturing spray! I always have the most difficult time with my thin hair trying to find a spray that won’t leave residue, is pliable, and lasts. This one checks all the boxes. Through trial and error (mostly error), I learned that a couple little sprays and a hair flip will give my hair the perfect lifted and bouncy look. Be cautious with how much you spray! One of my errors found me caught in a rainstorm and when my hair dried, it had congealed into a helmet on my head! Totally my error because I went to town spraying it on my head. I have no idea what I was thinking! Oh well. At least it smelled fabulous.

Personally very happy with this spray! I needed something that was good while styling but not quite as strong as an actual hairspray and this fits the bill perfectly. I didn’t know something like this existed!!!! It’s great to use for some volume and to help your hair hold its style but it also soaks up the oil in your hair in a similar way as a dry shampoo. I really like it because it added some oomf to my hair which can fall flat, and curling it was easier and stayed longer than it usually does. Also smells amazing, so for me- 10/10!

I used this on clean freshly washed hair, my hair felt heavy and full of product. I curled my hair and realized my curls fell because my hair felt heavy from the spray. The next day I DID NOT wash my hair. I also did not add more spray. I brushed my hair out, curled with a one inch barrel set and pinned it up. When I let my hair down I immediately could tell a difference in the way the curl set. Once all the curls were unpinned my hair felt easier to style in the way I wanted it too. My hair is very long and heavy so this is a huge help for the days I want that glam volume. A new favorite. But the price is not something I would be willing to pay for this.

I have used and loved multiple Oribe products in the past, but this was my first time trying out the texturizing spray—UM. Wow. Just wow. I have fine straight hair. I used this after blow drying as a finishing spray instead of regular hairspray and it gave my hair volume, dimension, and just the right amount of texture without comprimising shine or softness. Plus it smells amazing. It lasted all day and then I used it again as a refresher before going out at night and it eliminated any oiliness that had built up throughout the day!

Being raised in the South, I always heard older ladies say that “THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS HAVING HAIR TOO BIG” or “BIG HAIR THAT IS TEASED HIGH IS JUST THAT MUCH CLOSER TO HEAVEN , BOTH FIGURATIVELY AND LITERALLY. “ I wish those ladies could see this Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray. This invisible dry hair spray leaves incredible volume and texture. I liked that the hair does not stick together, it is easy to comb. It does not leave a powdery or white residue, like some sprays do. It also has a pleasant aroma. I received compliments on the smell. One lady thought it was hair perfume. The packaging is sleek and simple, but at the same time elegant. The nozzle is a little hard to push, but when it comes out, it does so in a fine mist that covers a wide area, so you won’t need much. Because of this, I think one can will last a long time, and maybe I won’t feel so bad about the $50.00 price. The claim is that Zeolite crystallines absorb oil at the roots, leaving just-styled hair for days. With excessive oily hair, the spray seems to have a drying effect. It seemed to work like a dry shampoo. I must say It lasted a long time, even with rain exposure. I did quick hair touch ups on dry hair, and it did improve how long my curls lasted. I did use it as a hairspray too and it gave my hair hold on some fly aways and helped to settle my frizz. I lifted my hair in sections with a slight back comb and sprayed, a little on the underside, and it seems to magically lift. The polymers absorb oils so after two or three days it's even better! Best of all, it feels and looks natural. I think this would be perfect for those with fine or thin hair that has little to no volume. It would also work great for those whose curls never seem to last. With all that this product does to give such wonderful volume, texture and longevity, I will definitely repurchase when I have used all of this.

Interesting product! Firstly, I love the packaging; it's simple and elegant. It does exactly what it claims, gave me a good amount of volume and did not leave any powdery or white residue. I have dark hair, so it's sometimes hard to find products that don't show when I use it. Bonus, it smells amazing. It's not a very perfumey smell, but it does last and it smells good to me. I was a bit skeptical before I used it. After spraying it and working it into my hair, I can see the volume and it made my hair look less greasy. I don't usually need a lot of product, however, the nozzle was a bit hard to push, so it ended up spraying more aggressively than I intended and it came out being more than I needed. This spray is awesome, I would recommend it over many dry shampoos!

I was super excited to try this out, after receiving it free from Influenster! My hair is thick and wavy, and I only wash it 1-2 times per week. I loved the idea of a texturizing and lifting dry shampoo all-in-one. However, I don’t really think this works as a dry shampoo replacement. It definitely adds volume and texture though! I would recommend if you are looking for texture and volume (a little goes a long way - too much and your hair looks white and crispy lol), but sadly it did not work as a dry shampoo for me!
